Design:
The pattern includes a Cardigan, Dress, Hat and Bootees. Easy to knit in stocking stitch with an attractive bobbled edge. The front, back and sleeves of the Dress are knitted separately and sewn together. The Cardigan is knitted in one piece to the yoke and the sleeves knitted separately and sewn in. Included in the pattern is a Hat and Bootees. Satin ribbon was used to finish off the Bootees.
Sizes:
The pattern is for an 18 inch/46 cms doll.
Yarn:
The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply).
The picture shows the outfit knitted using King Cole Pricewise DK in shade Lilac (3100) and shade White (001).
Skill:
Intermediate. Written instructions provided.
Tension:
22 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.
Needles:
Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles are required.
Other requirements:
Stitch holders
Stitch markers
Satin Ribbon for Bootees
3 Buttons for Dress and 4 Buttons for Cardigan
