Knit our beautiful Irish Lace Dress and Bonnet suitable to fit a doll 15-18 inches/ 38-46 cms in height.
The Dress has an Irish lace pattern with short sleeves, a bobble yoke and edging. The front, back left side, right side and sleeves are knitted separately on straight needles up to the yoke and then the stitches are slipped onto the same needle and knitted as one piece from the yoke onwards. Also included is a matching Bonnet.
The pattern uses double-knitting (USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply) wool and sizes 3.25 mm and 4 mm (US size 3 and 6) straight needles. You will also need 4 buttons to fasten the back of the Dress and satin ribbon for the Bonnet.
The picture shows the outfit knitted using Stylecraft Special DK in shade Pale Rose (1080) using 2 x 100 gram balls.
